Someone was in a rush to buy in big and at any price
It felt like it could be someone accumulating whatever they could before a takeover offer comes in well above the current price - so they bought whatever they could at a discount on market
Another scenario could be that it was RMS topping up to 19.99% - however I think they usually buy in a different way (block trade)
This could be another party stepping in
I know RMS has a blocking stake, but RMS might be happy cashing in their chips at a profit, or perhaps a JV with the new party
It's not uncommon for JV takeovers to occur when there's more than one interested party (for example with AZS - it was SQM and Gina)
