Hi Taurisk -
I suspect - in contrast to your good self - that as far as ‘lady investors’ go, there are some who would deem me extremely immodest on all counts (although I have been trying to become more financially prudent in recent times.)
(And always to learn whether or not the lessons sink in!)
- Spartan has been such a joy to be invested in, and when I look at other sector threads (like lithium) and see none of the excitement and celebration which abounds here, I realise that, modest or not, prudent or not, my main ‘theme’ is simply gratitude.As far as the rancid yak butter tea goes I first came across it in a library book borrowed decades back from London’s Bayswater library; https://www.amazon.com.au/Short-Walk-Hindu-Kush/dp/0007367759
- the book was an absolute delight from a time long ago.But as to the tea, I have tried neither the traditional nor ‘modern’ iteration myself, just looked until I found an interview where keto diet, guru, Dave Asprey confirmed the source of his idea.
Which leads to thoughts on the protective, nourishing and even kevlar vest qualities of fat?
I am beginning to remember (I’m a bit number dyslexic) that some of Gascoyne’s finds are 30 metres wide?
That sounds fairly stout![]()
This post isn’t much about Spartan so far is it :/.
To round off then, a good luck wish to the Gascoyne Team for the Royal Pines event this week, and two images;
this one’s to illustrate 30 metres - a Dutch bus designed for 256 passengers made about a decade ago that (unlike Spartan!) never went into production :

That’s an illustration for Arthur Schopenhauer’s opinion on trusting one’s own truths, even though collective ‘ herd’ mentality hates those who have the audacity to think for themselves.
