Excellent upgrade that the market chooses to ignore (for now) in the shadow of the DEG takeover. I wonder what they needed to print for market recognition in the step change to valuation?

Number was arguably conservative, there's no pump/pitch here with an assumed gold price of A3,000/oz. For a comparative exercise only I wonder where the numbers would fall using 'spot'....just for giggle value....?

Thought I had my fill of SPR but rotated some lesser holdings out for more SPR at the recent lows around $1.10. I ask myself why I hold stuff that's far more speculative when the highest quality is on sale? Happy to actually buy a small parcel on today's release at where it's trading. Never imagined I'd be buying at these levels but DEG provides an interesting current market valuation comparison. SPR I think sits very comfortably at these prices. Market appears to be pricing Dalgaranga's ounces against others with scant consideration for the quality of the deposit which is meaningful in ascribing differential $ valuations per resource ounce. This isn't comparing 'apples for apples'. It does deserve a significant premium. Arguably still cheap to peers (and there's more to come with an abundance of targets & current ore bodies that are still predominantly open) but qualitatively really it's in a class of its own.
