Agree the Philippines is a great place for aussie co's to do business and the fundamentals of PIL are extraordinary. But a company simply can't let their SP get in the grip of a downward spiral, capping, shorting, being pushed down and overall market manipulation (yes, it does occur). This is what has happened with PIL since it went below 2.5c. Large sell orders appear above, small sell orders push the SP to close down, volume gets stacked on above. PIL need to force the SP to break out of the downward consolidation before it breaks to the down side. If they don't there are all those trapped holders above which will ensure the SP never makes it back above the previous high.

Not to mention the insane president over there - the market needs reassurance that PILs business is not effected by his protectionist regime.

I really hate seeing a fundamentally strong stock become at the utter mercy of the market. The market will destroy a company if there is money to be made doing so.
