"MELBOURNE, June 10 (Reuters) - Australia's New South Wales state on Friday said it would invest A$1.2 billion ($850 million) in new transmission lines over 10 years to speed up connections to the grid for new renewable energy projects as the state looks to shift to greener power.
That's just transmission lines. Over 10 years. For ONE state. That's not including all the backend infrastructure as an example of which they are trying to get investors interested to assist.
I don't dispute infrastructure is being worked on, but I reiterate. 2030... little over 8 years from now we'll have the infrastructure ready to power all these EV's - no chance.
