1% of share on issue...? not sure that would be considered statistically significant.
Admitedly, as an income fund, i'm surprised there is a short position available at all. But GRI is a bit of a mut, being both a "REIT" and an Income fund. So you wouldn't call MOT a peer, as they are just lenders. You'd look to the other REITs as a better contextual comparison i suppose.
if we see more "flash crashes" then maybe its worth kicking the tyres, but it doesn't seem to be a structural change in SP
