Agreed. Its either hyperinflation or depression. They are the only options. You cannot be in $30tr debt & 120% debt to gdp without eventual consequences. Reserve currency status/petro dollar was the only reason they could kick the can down the road as far as they have, which BRICS are now challenging with their own proposed currency.
