I did a look for Permeability but couldn't find any quantified reference.
Did find another reference to pre-drill porosity from the same presentation.
What I find interesting is that at Eagle ford the reserves are approx 11,500 bo per acre and the top price paid per acre in 2010 was $10,800 for a 33% farm in, i.e. Value at peak price was approx $30k per acre (probably per in sweet spot area).
- "Exceptional porosity in HRZ – consequence of unique goelogic history
- >13% porosity indicated on log data
- Exceeds the ‘sweetspot’ average in all other US shale plays
- As a result, resource concentration is estimated to be >50% better than in the Eagle Ford sweet spot"
Conclusion: If the volume stacks up then the farm in price may be substantial, maybe we are looking at the wrong thing for shareholder value.
