Might have been because SilverCorp announced 19% acceptances of their take over of OreCorp - maybe there were some Perseus holders thinking PRU might raise their bid to a level where they might be overpaying?
I think from my perspective, even if PRU increase their bid by 10%, it's an immaterial amount in the context of the current cash balance, to get a very large, low cost asset which Jeff and the team uavr finished diligence on.
