"PRU have a full blocking stake".
Not anymore they don't.
All ORR director shares go to SVM on the 16th Jan, PRU have until then.
And the ORR directors have allowed a "no talk" clause, so the PRU directors can't talk with them.
The question also remains, do PRU have sufficient data-room access to complete a comprehensive enough due diligence?
An ORR takeover will require more than $300 million in cash, do they risk all that capital, given the restrictions, and the apparent intentions of the ORR directors?
And SVM via the TSX have reported just hiring an executive to lead the development of the project.
It looks like SVM are confident, so what will PRU do, now that they have been outmaneuvered?
Will PRU simply hold this now as a investment, as they originally stated in their first announcement?
Lots of questions, the ball is now in PRU's court, it's their turn for the next move I'd expect.
