This fact has less to do with the project-structure and more to do with the past Tanzanian governments acquiring projects unlawfully. Many have ended up in international arbitration with the Tanzanian govt having to pay out $100m+ (Indiana Resources, Montero).
Hopefully Nyanzaga can be the olive branch to get the country back into the good books of the capital markets.
