I'm taking this news the other way - as a positive. This line in the announcement is a clue that Karoon might be closer than most think to a deal "As the preferred bidder in the sale process, Karoon has now been joined to these proceedings. ".
Still not seeing a big uptick in shorts either...
If you're selling now, you're not counting the current value IMO - I'm holding (and added to my position today.)
