Has anyone considered what if:
a) There was no cash sale for the 20%, instead an exchange for another "potential", say in the Sichaun Basin. Therefore no hard metric for the market to put a new value on the Browse.
b) Petrochina use their 20% along with their global influence to "lock-up" the Browse until it's in their interests to do otherwise, maybe 5 years+
If either hypothesis comes true, then will the SP continue the same pattern, i.e. the value in the ground is mere potential & the SP will be today what the market thinks it can be sold for tomorrow?
