“The rise in investor sales in both capitals – which if sustained could curtail the current jump in house prices – drove an unseasonal 17 per cent rise in national auction volumes to 1729 homes across the combined capital cities, according to CoreLogic.“

“Ray White managing director Dan White said investors were behind a “pretty material” 8 per cent jump in listings across the group.
“We’re seeing more investors come to market this month following the end of the financial year, We expect them to lift even higher in spring,” Mr White told The Australian Financial Review.”
