    Many of the new dwellings are so-called 'social housing' that will be owned by State governments and hence not be in the potential PXA turnover pool.

    We have a shortage of tradesmen, and Labor/Greens local councils that are slow to approve projects.

    On top of that, thanks again to high inflation in the sector, many builders are either going broke or at risk of doing so.

    Albanese's Federal Labor government has no chance of meeting its five year proposed new dwellings total.

    But reverting to the UK (this thread), the economy over there may be starting to slightly improve. However the UK now has a 4 July 2024 election.
