Yes, very strange. Seems the hefty drop occurred AFTER the excellent news was released at 2PM.
Just from my casual observation, it seems that this sort of counter-logical price behaviour is occurring a lot in the current ASX.
OK, we all know the model where speculators sell on the news, after a price rise - but where's the price rise?
Almost seems that anyone coming out with a strong proposition and robust business case gets hammered.
Is it that the next step will be capital intensive (even though relatively low compared to competitors?).
Some people express fears of an upcoming financing drought, or the end of the world as we know it, and so aren't willing to hold through any pre-revenue development stages.
My position here is a toe hold - so I'm more curious than anything about today's drop.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.
