NAL having 50 percent of the facilities for carbonate production from previous owners is a huge no-brainer for product choice.
Also that helps bring a projected timeframe for completion of the plant forward, as opposed to what it would have initially taken to get the plant up and running. This could make the PLL offtake redundant a lot sooner.
