This link to a post on Bindi drilling gives sections showing overburden. It is variable but not a game changer. Some minor "leakage of copper makes it up into the cover as seen on this section from the announcement.

This section is from the south end of Dasher where there is thicker transported cover over the weathering cap. This will impact strip ratio much more then further to the north at Dasher. See sections in linked post.

Pre stripping will cost but early mining in start up pits will be basically in mineralisation (ore - once PFS/DFS and mining prove it is such).
