I know a lot of people will be upset it was a missed deadline but luckily it is at maximum 3 weeks later than previously said. I am happy management actually informed us of the delay and communicated this well. We do not need a big paragraph about why it is delayed, just informing us that it is prior to the deadline is enough for me. Most of my other stocks and their management teams would never do anything like that. The deadline would just pass, and investors would be in the threads discussing conspiracy theories to why it is delayed and how long away it is, creating a negative environment. At least now we have a call, we wait an extra fortnight or so and then hopefully enjoy the results of the PFS. Which should be quite exciting with the current record usd gold prices. The fact the share price held up well on the back of this news says to me that investors respect the communication and are not too fussed about the slight delay.
