I too have confidence in the deposit being a very profitable project.
I just think your valuation is excessive as you said after the buffer zone issue was dealt with and the mining license granted. 2 billion whilst still 2 to 3 years from mining? Unlikely, imo.
The comparison I use is with my other fav Goldie, WAF.
PDI is 40% of its mkt cap whilst having significant issues to overcome like the real drag on things, the buffer zone.
In comparison WAF is currently a cash cow with another mine due in 2025 but seem to pay a huge sovereign risk penalty. So that's why I see PDI as currently fairly valued, if not a touch over.
And why I can't see a $2 billion cap this calendar year.
