I noticed that the word Smartfren has been dropped from this announcement, which could mean they are no longer involved (just my opinion) and that the new platform will be jointly operated bu PGASCOM and TV2U offering a white label service to various customers. Linking this announcement with the previous per-announcement on Indosat Ooredoo, one can imagine that Indosat is the actual first customer. Quoting this announcement "with one operator already preparing to launch the service". Now the equipment with which TV2U would operate the white label service for Indosat makes sense. I made a humorous comment in a previous post saying that TV2U could use PGASCOM equipment for Indosat launch. It may not be a joke anymore. This would be a seriously much better deal than anything imagined before, with TV2U operating the service in partnership with a strong local partner, and able to scale the equipment as business demands, and a first customer being a major Telco. Very different from previous announcements. I hope my interpretation is right.

I think you could be right. I have the same feeling. If you’re right, delivery of hardware and installation was likely a contributing factor preventing the agreement from being executed. It’s got to pop on confirmation the agreements been executed with Indosat. Happy days... only a matter of time! Yeww!
