ok fair points raised - when we say “underperforming assets” what exactly do we mean - 1) poor share selection & then inability to close a discount to NTA or 2) poor longer term performance - hence the investor interest has been lacking.
I think the underlying assets selected by PGF have been reasonable hence the strong demand for PGF and the growth of the business?
I would need to print the holdings to compare the 3 and look at the sector allocation as well. Or is it poor performing assets because you don’t argue with the takeover on principle?
It’s a genuine question? The cost is worrying me but I’m assuming the underlying assets will be assessed.
