Yes it may well be the sweet spot.The issue I have with SPP processes are that they are equal upon application but very often unequal upon company distribution. So you are now seeing some companies use the smoothing based upon how many you applied for or how many you hold and recently PGF said how many you held before the start which implies they will look to see if you sold to then buy more. I hate all of these I would much prefer a rights issue with an overflow facility as well. That way I know when I pop my money down the minimum I will get. If I want more than I do that knowing that that is subject to the directors. Often when there is an SPP and the price falls to the same as SPP I buy on market because of uncertainty. I would prefer money going to company but don't want the risk.
