Hydrogen Vehicles are EVs. The technology is converging. A hydrogen fuel cell generates electricity (with the only by product is water) and can supplement a battery/batteries. It is a way to extend the range of any EV.
So with things like trucks they are particularly handy in that you don't need a large amount of batteries and instead have one battery and Hydrogen fuel Cell- that way the weight and space is minimised so the load can be maximised.
