The ibuprofen/kneeguard trial has finally been updated on the ANZCTR site.

The key takeaways are that the first person was enrolled on Aug 30 and so far only three participants from the 20 target size.
They're anticipating the final data on Dec 1 (from Oct 10 originally).
Also of note is that it was initially a phase 1 trial but is now phase 1/phase 2, combining safety and efficacy.
Hopefully that speeds things along, but it seems like still quite a way to go, judging by this paragraph

This is a pilot study gathering preliminary data from a relatively small number of participants. The data from the study will be used by the company that has commissioned the research to inform a future large randomised, controlled clinical trial.
