Below is a snip from Oct 18 announcement. I know there has been some back and forth between what phase we are in, but i'm a little lost. Below suggest the NZ and USA sites were to commence on phase 3, and my understanding was the phase 2b was complete, which resulted in the optimised dose.

Todays announcement clearly says in the commentary from management that this expansion is still part of continuing phase 2.

Not having a dig but I am a little confused as to the contradiction.

My attempt at understanding is that :

1. We are still in phase 2
2. This continuation of the phase 2 is to allow potential future partners to see it in action under their trial guidelines (prove it to us under our terms)
3. This continuation of the phase 2 also ticks the box of covering off on the FDA pilot requirements which is the precursor to phase 3
4. The phase 3 should follow, likely utilising these same sites

Or

5. More of PAA going round and round in circles (reminiscent of never ending lab testing for covid)

But I suspect it's not 5.

Perhaps in good time they will give us a clear update on progress and strategy/next steps...but obviously right now I prefer they do the necessary work to deliver our other trials rather than feed my curiosity.
