Another box ticked this morning. Here is how I'm looking at it.
- Trials in 3 areas to run concurrently. Canine Cancer Phase 2B, MND Phase 1 and Covid Phase 1 with Human Cancer Phase 1B or 2 [Not sure which] to follow.
- A drug that that appears to be potentially cheap to make and easy to manufacture, distribute and administer.
- The base drug has 20 plus years of history and is well understood.
- The drug does not need to work on its own for it to be commercialized. [It can be used as a companion Drug]
Risks are.
- It may not get over the final hurdle. [This is always a risk]
- Others may beat Pharmaust to the market, but this alone does not mean it wont be commercialized, just that it will have a competitor.
Currently the SP is lower that it should be, While I am supportive of the Board. I think it fair to say they they have not marketed it as much as some of us would have liked. I for one would feel much happier it the SP was 50 cents, not because I want to sell on the way up but because more is better. Its as simple as that.
Today I went back and researched the Bios of the Board. Roger, Robert and Sam, I don't know a lot about Neville. [It would be good if someone could share if they know more] These Blokes are not mugs, they have runs on the board and know their business. In multiple interviews over the years Roger Aston has stated the best way to get a drug onto the market is in conjunction with the big guys. This was the plan with Elanco, but it didn't eventuate, however do not write Elanco off, if in March or April we are told the revised dosage for dogs has resulted in tumor regression.
So what is their strategy ? It appears to me that getting the attention of Big Pharma is more important to the Board than impressing retail investors and traders on HC. This will be done quietly and in the background. Please do not take this as a defense of their strategy just a acknowledgement of what they
may be doing. I do not know if it will be better in the long run or not, just like I do not know what the SP will do in the short term. But remember they have close to 30 Million Shares between them, so their loss will be great if they misjudge.
So at this stage I'm sitting back and waiting. But if anyone from the board is watching, sooner is always better than later, I'm a poor retiree and want to buy a Austin Healey. I already have a very attractive Blonde to sit in the passenger seat
