When I talk about a "worst case scenario" as above, I mean NO MND project, and company deciding at some point down the track to auction off its very considerable intellectual property and data for this unique and proven mTOR inhibiting drug, for whatever - look up mTOR inhibitors and their uses. Years ago, I could not have said that with any confidence, but a lot of lab work, pill development, and testing on dogs and humans has changed all that. Remember, that's a worst case scenario, so the range of possiblities between a modest but nice return at one end (worst case) and blockbuster (which is what the first phase MND trial is suggesting is possible with neurological diseases) at the other end and everything in between.
