Shares on issue, and the perceived need for consolidation is regularly raised in this forum.
The answer from JW and the rest of the BoD has remained consistent since the first CR following 2016: There will be no consolidation until after LPD has earnings and can be valued by the market on that basis.
This position has been repeatedly stated by the company, so it may be worthwhile repeating it again here:
THERE WILL BE NO CONSOLIDATION UNTIL AFTER LPD HAS EARNINGS AND CAN BE VALUED BY THE MARKET ON THAT BASIS.
It is meaningless speculate an earlier consolidation because the question was settled years ago, and remains settled. It is not meaningless to remember the answer.
