Think you getting confused on what they were doing during this trial. The trials end point was to prove that the procedure was not harmful to human patients, they achieved this with the 13 patients so can now move onto through the FDA to the next trials which will involve a much greater number of patients to prove its a viable method of imaging, very expensive and time consuming. During trials they put 8 patients through MRI imaging and found 7 to be very successful in imaging breast cancer this could open the door for using their nano particles with MRI imaging worldwide. Note in that presentation they do mention the big problem with the detection agent gadolinium, it does not leave our system, surgeons have been complaining of this to the FDA. If they could get the ferro nano particles to replace this we are looking at big bucks, there are about 33,000 MRI,s in use world wide. At a guess I think this is the pathway they are following now, still don’t think they should do that 40/1 split until they secure it.
