My limited understanding of the 540m tonnes from Geo’s post is that is from an area of 1km x 1km x 200m. If you assume only 0.2% nickel you get just over 1m tonnes of nickel which at around $30,000 a tonne is $30B of in ground value.
It could be more with credits and if the nickel grades 0.3% to 0.4% instead.
