Regrettably,this situation is par for the course, Cheekytiger. Virtual looting of the stock market by vested interests has been given carte blanche, due to ineffective oversight by regulatory bodies. But the blame has to be sheeted home to governments who've not provided sufficient funds for the regulators to do a proper job. Why that is, your guess is as good as mine. But the signs are, there is now a growing awareness the dearth of oversight has led to corruption of a vast scale in our financial and market institutions, and has to be reined in. But we shouldn't sit back and hope for a positive outcome.We have to keep the pressure on our politicians so they stay the course. That means don't be backward in contacting your local federal MP and letting them know you want the system fixed.
On another note, it looks like the reference to the ASX Dark Secret's YT video in my previous email, has been taken down. My apologies if I've wasted anyone's time.
