@Timomo, did you actually read that paper? They used Mupirocin to treat skin infections - once bacteria have actually invaded the body, that's an altogether different level of difficulty to treat compared to asymptomatic nasal carriage. Comparable to the difference between shining a UV light on your skin to kill coronavirus and "introducing it into the body (somehow)" to treat COVID, as suggested by the funny orange man.
And yet, it worked. Strong argument.
