Hmm, if the potential participants of the COVID-19 trial stayed home, they'd most likely be dead.
The trial only accepts COVID-19 Critical patients, they are most likely intubated. To be more precise;
Critically ill to the extent this is the last of the inclusion criteria;
"The patient or his/her legally authorized representative (LAR) is able to provide informed consent"
