The weird thing is that now that the phase 3 trial has started, perhaps NEU should not sell most of their ROW asset...the trial only takes 12 weeks, and recruitment might be reasonably speedy, considering the parents will know about the trial and be keen to participate.
and NEU doesn’t really need the money ... it is a shame there doesn’t appear to be a small milestone payment for commencing phase 3.
It was a different story 12 months ago the heavily back-ended Acadia deal was announced, and the phase 3 trial was just a far away “gunna-do-this-one-day”promise.
now the trial has started, I think Neuren should just wait it out a bit longer, if they are pretty certain the trial will succeed.
maybe a compromise could be to do a Japan deal or some other small one country-only deal.
