In saying that, yes you are also right in the urgency and criticality aspect of the situation ... and I hope that will be part of the equation in fast tracking once the indication builds up that this is on the right track for treating covid (efficacious). It is my guess that the previous safety profile. as well as urgency was already taken into consideration by Ethics committee (and authorities) to allow such small group of only 6 for the safety phase. Usually it is more involved.

And to be honest, I think it is a good thing they tick boxes as they should, ... increaes/promotes confidence in the later stage and that will help with timeline as well ... I hope.

I’m not forming a judgement, I’m only reading what the principal investigator said. He’s the expert and he’s the one who understands his patients and what’s going on.
