How about setting a high frequency trading bot to buy into the highest bid, when it's below the market price. That will drag the SP down. Doesn't cost much if it's buying it's owner controlled shares. Of course when it works well, it can trigger stop losses and pick up other shares at a 5 or 10% discount. Just one of many ways to mess with a stock which doesn't turn over high volumes on market.
