Paul has stated a few times that he knows news flow has been poor and that he takes responsibility for it. One and a half months in and (aside from mandatory reports) no news. He needs to be more active, promoting and selling the trial if for no other reason than to recruit.
Also what happened in the USA? Some accountability for those trips needs to happen.
