My guess is the increase in resource size will also allow the company to be more selective in what and where they mine ,
In the investor presentation at the time of the AGM it inferred only a 3.1% Pb recovered grade (249ktPb/8Mt) for life of mine (LOM) , and even with that they had an over 60% IRR.
Logically as the cut off goes up the recovered grade also goes up .
SO if they kept only an 8MT LOM it stands to reason they can pick the eyes out of the resource for even a higher grade which will result in an even higher IRR and also higher NPV over the 8 years.
We really are in the front row seat for going for a very high grade small tonnage mine or alternatively joint venturing for a much larger 36MT LOM mine , going to be very interesting to see how the DFS comes out
