By way of extension, when you are researching a company - you've got to look at management.
It's crucial.
Can management execute?
In this case, can management execute a farm out strategy?
Who will pay for drilling programs? Farm-in partners? Sophisticated investors? Retail investors?
Can management monetise existing assets? Is there a history of commercialisation? - previous gas wells etc.
Where does management interest in the stock lie?
Do they buy on market when the share price is depressed?
Some healthy questions to ask.
