I’m no expert by any means, but yes it can be done this way as I have been a holder of 2 companies that did DHEM surveys after each hole,
one had visual Ni sulphides which was announced first with plans on doing a DHEM survey of that hole (while still drilling the other holes) then an ann that for the DHEM was announced not long after (the thing lit up like a Xmas tree)
results were expedited to the lab and some grades were over 3% Ni (which took off memory 2-3 weeks for lab results)
Im not saying this will be the same process management will take, but if something prospective is visually seen then it’s more then likely.
I personally would expect a visual/XRF gun announcement first with plans on DHEM survey of that hole to follow if visuals are to be found.
If this is the case at hole 20A then expect news to flow thick and fast!
