One view that can be taken is that any future announcement needs to have a big enough bang to put the options in the Monday.

Anns that Talk of visuals, use of the word "encouraging" etc probably wont cut it, so the company may be waiting for the most solid data (Assays from first holes, and potentially the redone holes from last week) before releasing to the market.
Time is running out for these options, so if this was their tactic I would think next week would be the latest they can announce.
