They are pretty much treading water out there in mid Indian Ocean. Since my last update on the 19th they have travelled just 36 nm over 48 hrs to 1940hrs last night (AWST). That's just 0.79 knots. They have drifted northward a fraction as at the same time last night were at Lat 23:24:53 back from 23:27:38 on the 19th. I'm no seafarer but I doubt they will start to move again until the eye of Marcus has passed to the south which wont happen until morning of Saturday according to the forecast pattern on Windfinder.com. Cyclones can be unpredictable cussers like this one, normally once they hit landfall like the Kimberley they diminish into rain bearing depressiuons. No so Marcus, who then went back out to sea, to recharge to cat' 5 and refill its buckets. Cheers
