I wonder how long the scheduled maintenance will take? Transocean have had months to get the rig shipshape before leaving Las Palmas, it seems a bit odd to be doing scheduled maintenance half way through a journey. No doubt there is a logical explanation. Anyway, I hope they don't take more than a couple of days as time's a wasting. At 4.5 knots its 48 days 19 hrs sailing to Pt Hedland and at 5 knots its 43 days. 22 hrs (according to the Sea Distances.org calculator.) Add a few days for positioning and prep' and we are closing in on the end of March. If the rig remains in CT for anything like a week or even more, we could be looking at an April spud. Still, it is what it is I guess. We'll just have to be patient!
