I haven't received a hard copy of the offer docs yet, however I did receive electronic notification from Computershare. I acted on the electronic version, otherwise I'd still be waiting for physical docs via Australia Post. I'd imagine that there would be plenty of shareholders who may not get notifications from Computershare, so the extension makes sense from this perspective.
