Awarded outcome or negotiated outcome will be based on merit of case being heard.
The claims are several, serious and significant. $10M represents less than 3% of total claim...methinks that would be extremely soft.
I feel there is a reasonable probability that such a low ball offer may have already been made and rejected.
I'm thinking maybe what remains in escrow might do it, $63M US? or even potentially much higher if left for the Arbitrator to make the award.
Glad it is RM and Australia's best council handling the case and negotiations, I think the outcome will be much better than some shareholders are positing.
