Saucers typically form over many weeks or months as this one for MNB has done. It would be wrong to expect to accurately predict the day that it will break out.

In relation to your earlier comment on 8c and then a pull back to form a cup and handle, that's not a typical cup and handle. Typically, the sp would retreat temporarily from the rim of the cup as shown in the examples below. The rim is the initial resistance level. That would be around 6c in MNB's case, not 8c but it's not an exact level. You can see multiple times during the formation of the saucer (chart at bottom) where the sp hit 6c or marginally higher and then pulled back again. In the later stages of the pattern, each pull back becomes shallower and that resistance level should eventually be broken as the saucer base curves higher and the pattern completes.
A saucer doesn't necessarily go on to form a cup and handle pattern. Timing of news flow might influence that. MNB's sp is currently pulling back a little from 6c but it would need to do that for at least a few days to a week to form a cup and handle.



If we don't get at least a few days of pull back to form a cup and handle, the bottom formation might simply be the saucer that has already formed. It doesn't matter too much either way as long as we get that offtake soon and the breakout either on the news or in anticipation of it.
