I may not be a valuable poster here, but I do recall a highly regarded poster here in this group also makes a comment about him not being able to play poker and that he is very easy to read: mumbling when it's hard to explain or difficult. So I'd argue against your accusation that it's just me and Protag analysing his speech pattern. It seems that over the course of time, some residents here start analysing and recognising his speech pattern too.
