However, it is suitable for very early stage science which has to be developed to a point where it can get across the valley of death. At which point things become a little bit more viable.
The problem is it is on the other side of the valle of death that all the Johnny Come Latelys will jump in for a smidgen of its real value with no risk and dilute the suckers who got in too early.
