Cosmetics, now there's something I didn't expect!
There doesn't appear to be any upfront payment, but Le metier de Beaute is paying all costs, so there's no downside that I can see, just some - we have no idea how big the market is or what the royalty is - potential income if products ever get to market. (And with no need to prove efficacy or anything boring like that, this could happen much faster than any therapeutic drug would be.) And the license is non-exclusive, so if this phylomer is a hit Phylogica can license it to all and sundry.
